Knauf 150mm Insulation Handling

Knauf Loft Roll Insulation stands apart from the other insulation manufacturers in the UK because it invests in eco-friendly alternatives. ECOSE Technology is just one of the ways that Knauf Insulation creates a better handling experience, maximising on-site efficiency. Whereas most manufacturers use binding agents that create dust and irritate the skin, Knauf Insulation invests in binders that do not have added formaldehyde or phenol.

Knauf's 150mm Earthwool loft roll 44 insulation roll is soft and easy to handle. It is even made from natural raw materials. Eco-conscious individuals love Earthwool loft rolls. The manufacturing process requires 70% less energy than traditional binders used in the manufacture of other building materials.

Knauf Earthwool Loft Roll 44 150mm Installation

Knauf Insulation Loft Roll 44 Combi-Cut insulation is designed for installation in lofts between suspended timber floors and pitched roofs at ceiling level. A first layer will give satisfactory thermal performance, but a second layer will improve the thermal resistance of the buildup even further. Unlike insulation boards, rolls do not have facings. In most cases, you will have to install protective sheets on top of the roll to ensure its longevity.
